Who knew San Antonio was so Cool?!


My wife and I headed down to San Antonio yesterday to celebrate our anniversary.  We stayed at the Emily Morgan Hotel right across the street from the Alamo.

I don’t know about you but the mental picture I’ve always had in my mind of San Antonio was dry and dusty.  I was blown away by how the green and lush the River Walk was.  It was not what I was expecting.

The San Antonio River Walk (also known as Paseo del Río) is a network of walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River, one story beneath downtown San Antonio, Texas. Lined by bars, shops and restaurants, the River Walk is an important part of the city’s urban fabric and a tourist attraction in its own right. (source: wikipedia)
